Administration Assistant-Finance

 

An experienced Administration Assistant Finance officer is required for a coastal community hospital. This position is full time 19th March – 2nd April and ongoing casual after this period.

 

In this role you will be assisting in all areas of the organisation as required. An understanding of administration in a public sector environment, including quality accreditation is essential and the ability to display sound judgment in referring matters to senior staff and other staff.

 

The role includes but is not limited to:

 

  • Maintaining accounts payable and receivable
  • Processing information for the accountant
  • Maintaining hospital intranet and website
  • Maintaining appropriate management systems
  • Processing end of month procedures with admin officer
  • Online banking, wages distribution and transfer of funds when required

 

The successful candidate will require a sound history in administration roles which requires a high level of organisational abilities and computer skills. This position will also include exposure to hospital information therefore confidentiality is expected.
