People @ Work Administrative Professionals Breakfast
25 Apr 2010

On 21st April People @ Work sponsored both the Geelong and Ballarat 2010 Administrative

Both breakfasts were very well attended with long waiting lists for both events. Specially commissioned and stylish melon flavoured lip glosses were sourced by People @ Work from Ballarat business, B’Gentle, as a thankyou gift for each attendee in Geelong and Ballarat.

In Geelong over 400 people gathered at the Geelong Football Club braving the early morning start to hear well known local identity, Tim McCallum, sing a selection of inspiring and uplifting songs to a very appreciative audience.

In the Big Boss Handball Competition Rob Birch and Bernadette Uzelac were just pipped at the post by Anne Skorjanic from Davidsons who took out first prize. Funds raised from this breakfast were $19,120 – a record for this event.

In Ballarat, 314 admin professionals and their bosses were treated to a 1950’s inspired fashion parade, including swimsuits, presented by ‘My Sister Pat’. Held at the recently renovated Ballarat Golf Club, attendees enjoyed the tranquil early morning ambience of the now green golf course with the breakfast netting approximately $10,500 for Ballarat United Way.

With loads of giveaways, prizes and plenty of media hype in the lead up to both breakfasts, they are sure to be sell outs again next year.
